I have had a revamp of teatime round here as I was making myself quite stressed always having to do a 'proper' meal. So now as long as the plate contains carb/protein/veg plus something with fruit for pudding I no longer worry if it goes together or is hot.Recently we have had:Pasta salad, hard boiled eggs, salad vegRice salad, mackerel, broc&carrotsBoiled eggs on toast with soupCheese & beans on toast/cheese & left over veg chili on toastTuna salad with breadFishcakes (bought) with lots of vegThen I do stuff like fresh or tinned fruit for pudding with yogurt and toast after if they are still hungry. The kids are happier with what they call 'bits' most of the time anyway. Also if I do veg chili one day I do wraps with left over sauce the next so I only cook 'properly' once for two days. Then weekends I do proper cooking - sometimes!. i am after some super speedy recipe ideas please for tea times when --I haven't got enough time-- my children are famished and can't wait the 45 mins. Would you give a baby Kinder Tea? At the hospital, the nurses gave my baby 1 bottle of Kinder or Fennel Tea a day and they have advised me to keep this up - Can anyone tell me why? and What are the benefits to the baby from having this tea?.
